And þæt lamb sæġde, "Min hlāford mōte meċ lā lǣtan." And se wulf edcwæþ, "hit nis nā siex mōnþas ġēo þæt þīn fæder ilċe mē dyde." And þæt lamb andswarode, "Ġiet næs iċ nā tīde ġeboren." And se wulf edcwæþ him, "Þū hæfst mīn fæder ġeeten." And þæt lamb andswarode, "Iċ nabbe nā tēþ." Þonne sæġde se wulf, "Þū eart wel ġelīċ þīn fæder, and of his synne and nīðe swā þū scealt deadian."
